Saigon City Tour
USD45 or VND1,050,000 per person
An insightful, fun-filled and informative ride about sightseeing, history, society and life in Saigon. The Pride Sights Tour is focused on both well-known Saigon attractions and the unseen areas. The concept of this Saigon motorbike city tour is to give you a very genuine view of the city, the difference among districts, from the poorest slums, to the touristy, poshest areas. Hidden alleyways, crowded market streets and same-stuff-selling roads will be slowly shown on our way. This tour will pass through no less than 7 districts of the city, allowing you to see as much of Saigon as you can.
Starting the tour, we will drive past and let you see all the famous attractions like the Notre-Dame Cathedral, Saigon Central Post Office, Reunification Palace, City Hall, the City Opera House, Ben Thanh Market… Our drivers and guides will point out and give you information of the sights you are looking at on the way while we go. We WON’T stop at or go inside these sights, however. As the goal of this City Tour is to give you a very general view of Ho Chi Minh City (sightseeing, life, culture, society and cuisine…) and the difference among areas, there will be a lot of driving (through no less than 7 districts). If we stop to go inside each sight, we won’t have enough time to show you all the other things.
Though this motorbike City Tour focuses more on the sights, we hope we can somehow introduce to you our local culinary delicacies. The first part of the tour is followed by an authentic, delightful meal Saigon has to offer. Breakfast on the Morning Tour, lunch on the Afternoon Tour or dinner on the Night Tour. So, we advise you to skip breakfast at your hotel, or save room for food, if you are taking the Morning Tour as we really, really want to try a tasty dish that is only available for a few hours in the early morning.
Then we will head to Cholon (Ho Chi Minh City’s China Town) after our meal. On the way we go, you can see many interesting things like flower market, furniture street, pet street, ghost towers, wet market, chemical market, lantern street, Chinese medicine quarter… and the highlight is Binh Tay Market – the biggest and oldest market in Ho Chi Minh City. We will stop a little for us to rest after a long ride and to try some local snack in China Town.
Korean Town, a rich area in Ho Chi Minh City, will be our final stop on this tour. There, you can see how the rich people live and how different it is from the other parts of the city that we have seen.
Please note that as some attractions are closed at night, itinerary of the Night City Tour is a little different from the day ones.
